An educated wine collector bought a brand-new home in a subdivision, which had a considerable basement space. They had already curated a large, catalogued wine collection, and they wanted to convert part of her new basement into a high-end wine cellar that could store and age their collection.

A TOUCH OF LUXURY
The client had a built-in idea of how they wanted their wine cellar to look. By conveying that information to our design-build experts, it was a seamless process to create impressive CAD drawings. We arranged for a site visit to assess the intended space and document any unique challenges that could impact the construction process.
Our in-house designer team incorporated the takeaways from the site assessment into the CAD drawings—creating a realistic blueprint of the wine cellar. During the consultation, our team shared examples of materials and equipment that would bring the CAD drawings to life.
- Custom mill work: All mill work is manufactured and assembled at our in-house design and wood shop facility.

The Transformation
Once the wine cellar was fully installed and our design-build team was satisfied with the quality of the work, we took the client on a thorough walkthrough. The client was overjoyed with the quality of the work and delighted to have an exquisite bespoke space to properly store their valuable wine collection.
Particular praise was given to the sophisticated design and finish of the custom wine racks, as well as the glass pane on the steel door. The client quickly went to work moving their wine collection into their newly finished wine cellar.
